Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is known for his part in a well-known television series called 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Meloni discovered his passion for acting in his early days at the college classroom and then studied acting at The University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he's appeared in films and in television shows and on stage, it's the roles he has played on tiny screens has earned him the most acclaim. His ability to portray characters on both sides of law has captured the attention of the public. His initial project was a television show, but he later played the part of an NYPD detective. For his performances on small screens, he has received multiple nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as the PRISM Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is said to be his stunning blue eyes which are considered to be a trademark and have aided in creating characters that are savage and charismatic. He was listed in People's magazine's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
